The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has had a significant impact on global public health. One of the most visible effects is the increase in cases of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI), leading to morbidity and mortality, especially among vulnerable groups. Against this background, this study aims to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on ARI patients receiving treatment at the Holistic Clinic hJakarta. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method involving 60 patients diagnosed with ARI and also confirmed positive for COVID-19. Data were collected through direct interviews, questionnaires, and analysis of secondary data from patient medical records. The evaluation includes various aspects, such as patient sociodemographic considerations, the severity level of ARI, as well as the type of care and effectiveness of the treatment received. The results indicate that patients infected with COVID-19 experience a more significant increase in the severity of ARI symptoms compared to ARI patients who are not infected. From the study, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between COVID-19 and the worsening of ARI severity. This study is expected to provide a better understanding of how COVID-19 interacts with acute respiratory infections and its impact on patient management in clinics. These findings are critical to assist healthcare professionals in formulating more effective prevention and treatment strategies for ARI patients infected with COVID-19. Furthermore, this study is anticipated to serve as a foundation for future research regarding the long-term impacts of COVID-19 and respiratory illnesses. It is hoped that the results of this research will benefit not only the development of knowledge in the fields of pharmacy and health but also the improvement of public health systems in addressing the challenges posed by the pandemic. Thus, this research will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of healthcare services in Indonesia, particularly in managing respiratory infections that have increased due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
