Indonesia has a high TB burden, indicating the need for interventions to reduce infection rates. One intervention is TB prevention behaviors at the family level, as families are at high risk of infection. This study aims to determine the relationship between pulmonary TB prevention behaviors and household contact transmission. The research design used observational analytic with a cross-sectional technique. The sample was 39 TB patients and their families with total sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The study, based on respondents' characteristics, found that most TB patients were aged 19-44 (53.8%), most were male (51.3%), most had a high school education (61.5%), and most were housekeepers (38.5%). Univariate analysis showed that most TB patients had good TB prevention behavior (82.1%). Most had no household contact transmission from 39 families (89.7%). Bivariate analysis showed that poor TB prevention led to home contact transmission (36%), while good TB prevention did not (64%). The Fisher's Exact Test results showed a p value of <0.05, meaning that there was an association between TB prevention and household contact transmission. The health center should promote routine physical activity.
