Chronic Protein-Energy Deficiency in pregnant women is a serious nutritional problem in Indonesia that significantly impacts the health of both the mother and the fetus. This condition increases the risk of complications such as prolonged labor, postpartum hemorrhage, and maternal death, as well as disrupting fetal growth, with potential outcomes including miscarriage, low birth weight (LBW), neonatal death, and anemia. Therefore, this study is crucial for identifying effective solutions to address Chronic Protein-Energy Deficiency, particularly in the work area of Puskesmas Kabawo, considering that data from 2024 show that 34 pregnant women are experiencing these symptoms. The data for this research were obtained through interviews and document studies. The findings indicate that the factors contributing to Chronic Protein-Energy Deficiency in pregnant women in the Puskesmas Kabawo area include inadequate nutritional intake, irregular eating patterns, stress, and anemia. In response, Puskesmas Kabawo conducts routine check-ups, provides nutritional supplements such as iron, folic acid, and calcium, and offers education on balanced diets and psychological support. These efforts align with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health of Indonesia and the Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association (POGI), aimed at improving the well-being of both mother and fetus during pregnancy.
