Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici is a pathogen that causes Fusarium wilt, significantly reducing tomato plant productivity. Biocontrol using Trichoderma spp. is an environmentally friendly alternative to suppress the development of this pathogen. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Trichoderma spp. in inhibiting Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici in tomato plants through in-vitro and in-vivo tests. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with seven treatments and four replications, each consisting of three plants per replication. Trichoderma spp. was applied as a biofungicide formulation in the planting medium, and observations were conducted on the disease incubation period and the percentage of Fusarium wilt infection in tomato plants for 21 days after treatment. The results showed that Trichoderma spp. application significantly suppressed the development of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici. The best treatment extended the disease incubation period and reduced infection rates compared to the control. Therefore, Trichoderma spp. has the potential as an effective biofungicide for controlling Fusarium wilt in tomato plants.
