Antibiotic resistance is a global health challenge caused by the irrational use of antibiotics. Misuse and overuse of antibiotics without a doctor's prescription increase the risk of bacterial resistance, making infections more difficult to treat. This Community Service Program (KKN) aimed to raise public awareness of the dangers of antibiotic resistance through a health education campaign in Ciawi Village, Bogor. The method used was the Active Learning Method (CBIA), which included a pre-test, material presentation, interactive discussion, and post-test to measure participants' knowledge improvement. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in public understanding of the proper use of antibiotics. Before the education session, many participants held misconceptions about antibiotics, such as using them for viral infections and sharing antibiotics with others. After the session, most participants understood that antibiotics should only be used with a doctor's prescription and must be completed as directed. Public education on antibiotic resistance is crucial to preventing broader negative impacts on individuals and society. Therefore, similar educational programs should be continuously implemented to enhance public awareness of rational antibiotic use.
