EFEKTIVITAS PENYULUHAN KESEHATAN TENTANG KANKER SERVIKS MELALUI AUDIOVISUAL TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP WANITA USIA SUBUR DALAM DETEKSI DINI KANKER SERVIKS

Audiovisual media can capture the attention of women of reproductive age and convince them to improve their knowledge and attitudes about early detection of cervical cancer. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of audiovisual health education on the knowledge and attitudes of women of reproductive age. This research used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. A total of 34 participants were surveyed, divided into 17 people in the experimental group and 17 people in the control group, using purposive sampling method. Paired Sample T-Test and Independent Sample T-Test were used to analyze univariate and bivariate data. Most respondents were aged between 35 and 45 years, with 19 of them (55.9%) having a high school diploma, 18 of them (52.9%) working as housewives, and 19 of them (55.9%) being multiparous. The results of the statistical test show that health education about cervical cancer through audiovisual media is effective in improving the knowledge and attitudes of women of reproductive age regarding early detection of cervical cancer, with a p-value (0.000) < α (0.05).
